Services for Employers
We welcome you as a customer of Turku Centre for Occupational Health!
Employers are required to provide preventive occupational health care, i.e. statutory occupational health care, for their employees. Employers may also arrange for medical services and other health care services if they so wish. The aim of medical services is to maintain work ability and to prevent work disability.
The aims of occupational health care are to support the occupational health and well-being of the employees, to prevent occupational diseases and accidents, as well as to maintain the employees’ ability to work and function.
The employer and the occupational health care provider make a contract in which they agree on the occupational health care services and their extent.
